Alan Shafran has dedicated the past 24 years to learning the ins & outs of the finance world and the real estate markets.  His decision bring his financial background to help excel as a Broker & to aid his community in reaching their goals and dreams has been very fullfilling to his career and life. Brent Hansen

Growing up in Encinitas, Brent attended high school at San Dieguito where he was a second generation graduate.  After high school, Brent attended Mira Costa College & UC San Diego while majoring in Political Science.   During his time in college, Brent played baseball as well.  After earning All-American honors in his senior season at UCSD, he was selected in the major league draft by the Boston Red Sox.  For the next seven years, Brent pursued his life long dream of playing professional baseball (including one year in Taiwan).  

It was while attending college that Brent met his wife Christina, a graduate of Carlsbad High School.  After their marriage, Christina & Brent decided to settle in her home town of Carlsbad where they still reside.  With a passion for family, Brent can often be seen playing with his children, Kyle & Chloe at the beach, park and sports fields around Carlsbad.  Although he retired from baseball years ago, he still enjoys being around the game.  He has coached a number of his son’s sports teams through the years & most recently, spent two years as the varsity baseball pitching coach for Carlsbad High School.  

Brent comes to The Alan Shafran Group as one of the true area experts.  A native of North San Diego, his unique insight on the area & neighborhoods has been invaluable to hundreds of past clients.  Coupled with a strong competitive drive that helped him throughout his professional sports career, Brent brings an enthusiasm to the business that has translated into a tremendous real estate career.   Since joining The Alan Shafran Group in 2000, Brent has consistently been one of the top producing agents on the team but also throughout North County, San Diego.

Kelly Coleman

Kelly is a native to San Diego.  She grew up surrounded in the Real Estate industry going to open houses with her mother who was a successful Broker from the age of 5.  After graduated High School she continued her education with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.   

Kelly obtained her Real Estate license in 2005 shortly after graduating college.  She dabbled in construction and development when she designed, built and sold her own spec home in Northern California along with being a key player in the conception phase to a top Developer for a high end Master Planned community.  She resumed her career in Real Estate sales when she joined the Alan Shafran Group in 2009.  Her success in sales has continued when she represented the Buyers of the highest priced short sale for the group in 2010.  She enjoys traveling and going to San Diego’s gorgeous beaches with her husband and two beautiful daughters.

Linda Lesmeister

Linda Lesmeister knows that buying a home will probably be the biggest investment that most people will make in their lives and she does not approach this job lightly.  She takes each and every one of her clients very seriously by devoting the time to listen, care about and understand his or her individual needs.   

Linda and her family moved to Carlsbad, California in 2003.  She was born in Maryland, raised in Massachusetts and resided in Michigan as well as Nebraska.  Linda and her husband Tim have two wonderful daughters.  Despite their busy schedules, they stay involved with their children’s lives.  Family is the most important thing in Linda’s life.  She and Tim play very active roles (8 consecutive years now) in the Encinitas Unified and San Dieguito Union School Districts.  Linda has firsthand knowledge of the local education, community and developments.  

Prior to real estate, Linda was employed in marketing, market research, finance and business analysis at the General Electric Company, Kellogg’s and Clorox.  She holds a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Marketing.  In addition, she was a business franchise owner of a hair salon.  Linda enjoys art, shopping, eating out, spending time with children and working with people and of course loves the San Diego weather and beaches.  She is a member of National Association of Realtors, Asian Real Estate Association of America and speaks limited Chinese and French.

Natasha Brkovic

From a close knit family, Natasha grew up in Escondido and loves Southern California. She stayed in San Diego to attend the University of California, San Diego and later graduate business school at San Diego State University where she earned her MBA in 1996. Natasha and her husband of 20 years live in Carlsbad and have been blessed with two wonderful children, a son and a daughter, who attend Carlsbad schools, who are very involved in sports, music, school clubs, and who love traveling to Serbia in the summer to visit relatives in the Old Country. Natasha feels strongly about being involved in her children’s lives and takes pride in volunteering her time to the Odyssey of the Mind program, a creative problem-solving competition for children, where team members work together at length to solve a predefined problem and then present their solution at a competition. She has coached her children’s teams to success at the Regional and State competitive levels, and she thrives on watching kids solve problems by thinking outside the box. She is also very passionate about the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the UC San Diego Pediatric Diabetes Research Center, which work on research for the cure of Type 1 Diabetes.

Sam Shafran

Sam Shafran has been in the Real Estate industry since 1985 with many years of a successful partnership with his wife Tami – who is now happily retired.  As a prominent member of “The Alan Shafran Group”, Sam enjoys dedicating undivided attention to his buyers while committed as well to servicing seller’s every need.  

Prior to discovering his attraction to the Real Estate profession, Sam had a rich background.  He served as a Lieutenant in Infantry Military & next finished his service as a Police Force Capitan.   To follow he trained and worked in the Electronics division of the Amram-Missle chamber at Hughes Aircraft industry.  

He is a devoted family man with over 46 years of marriage, two adult children and four fabulous grandkids.  Sam’s enthusiasm stems from an underlying love for life especially in North County San Diego.  He appreciates its splendor, therefore feels that while marketing real estate in this territory he is performing a good deed for his clientele.
